Owning a home and being a parent have a lot in common. The work is never finished! There are so many ways to turn a dark, scary space into a bright area for everyone to enjoy! The idea may seem intimidating at first, but the best way to start is to clean. After cleaning out your basement, it is best to do a moisture test in order to avoid sneaky leaks that may occur in the future.

After gathering all necessary materials such as a hammer, goggles, drywall, plywood, flooring, nails, and more- the next necessity is imagination. There’s no limit to how you can make your basement a comfort zone, instead of the place you want to run away from.
